Community Guidelines
Welcome to Snake Verse.
Snake Verse is built to be a place that is fun, competitive, and comfortable for every player. Everyone plays differently, but we all carry the same responsibility for keeping this community healthy.
These guidelines cover everything connected to Snake Verse: the game itself, community features, accounts, the leaderboard, and the official Snake Verse channels.
Plainly, as things stand today: two things you write are seen by other players, your display name and your review on the site's front page. There is no in game chat yet, and no official community channel yet. The rules covering both are still written below, and they take effect the day those features open.
1. Respect each other
Differences in skill, experience, and playing style are normal.
We do not allow:
- Insulting or belittling other players, repeatedly
- Threatening other players
- Bullying or harassment
- Deliberately stirring up trouble
- Attacking someone over their personal identity
Playing to win is no reason to treat someone badly.
2. Play fair
Snake Verse is a competitive game. Results have to come from rounds that were actually played.
You may not use:
- Cheats
- Programs that play an account automatically
- Scripts that run the game without its player
- Modified clients that give an advantage
- Exploits that hand out an advantage that was never intended
- Score or leaderboard manipulation
- Any other method used deliberately to break the game's systems
We want the leaderboard to reflect how well people play, not what they got around.
3. Do not abuse bugs
Bugs happen. If you find one that hands you an advantage, do not farm it on purpose.
Report it so it can be fixed, through the Bug Report form. A report that includes the steps to reproduce is the one that turns into a fix soonest.
Abusing a bug for score, rewards, items, currency, or any other gain can lead to those results being removed and action being taken on the account.
4. Keep your account safe
Every player is responsible for the security of their own account.
Never share:
- Your password
- Verification codes
- Login details
- Payment details
- Personal data
Snake Verse will never ask for your account password in a private message.
Be careful with any site, account, or person claiming to be Snake Verse staff and asking for account details. Our only official site is snakeverse.app, and our only official address is [email protected].
5. No scams
This community has to be a safe place for everyone in it.
You may not:
- Claim to be Snake Verse staff without authorisation
- Create phishing links
- Defraud other players
- Offer rewards that do not exist
- Use fake accounts to deceive people
- Ask for personal information on a flimsy pretext
If you come across something suspicious, report it through the ticket form or by writing to [email protected]. Include a screenshot if you have one.
6. Use a decent name
A player name is part of who you are in this community.
Names carrying insults, threats, sexual content, hate speech, or a deliberate imitation of a staff name can be required to change.
Names are filtered automatically when they are created, and that filter is not perfect. A rejected name is not an accusation; try another form. Name changes are made from your player card. More
7. What you write
Today, what you write and send onward is your display name, your review on the site, and the text of any ticket you send. In game chat does not exist yet; the rules below apply to those three now, and to chat from the day it opens.
Do not send:
- Spam
- The same message over and over
- Malicious links
- Sexually explicit content
- Threats
- Hate speech
- Malware
- Someone else's personal information
- Promotion that gets in the way
Keep conversations relevant and comfortable for the people reading them.
8. Do not share personal information
Never share another player's personal information without their permission.
That includes full names, addresses, phone numbers, private email addresses, locations, account details, private photos, and anything else that could put someone at risk.
9. Keep the leaderboard fair
The leaderboard is part of what makes Snake Verse a competition.
Leaderboard manipulation, rounds played by an automated program, farming through alternate accounts, and collusion arranged to lift a rank unfairly are all off limits.
We can remove scores or rewards obtained that way.
10. No boosting that wrecks the competition
Playing with friends is perfectly normal.
Making a second account, or arranging things with another player, to harvest kills, score, rewards, or rank unfairly can be treated as a breach.
11. Keep spam and promotion out
Do not use the places Snake Verse gives you to write for spam or unrelated promotion: reviews on the site, the ticket forms, and chat once it opens.
A review or ticket that is really promotion, a referral, or the same thing sent over and over will not be published and can be removed. Filing repeated reports to harass someone is a breach as well.
12. Report breaches
We rely on the community to keep Snake Verse healthy.
Please report it when you come across:
- Cheating
- Rounds played by an automated program
- Exploits
- Scams
- Phishing
- Harassment
- Threats
- Leaderboard manipulation
- Any other behaviour that clearly breaks these rules
Player names are reported straight from the records board: on a phone, press and hold that name's row; on a computer, hover the row and press the ⚑ that appears. The same action hides that name on your device, and the hidden list stays on the device you used. For anything else, use the ticket form or the Contact page.
When you file a report, include enough for it to be checked properly: the name exactly as it appears, when it happened, and what you saw.
Do not file false reports to drag another player down.
13. Enforcement
Every breach is weighed on how serious it is and on the account's history.
The action taken can include:
- A warning
- Limits on features
- Removal of content
- Removal of scores or rewards
- A temporary suspension
- A permanent block
Not every breach walks through the same steps. A serious one can go straight to a serious result.
If you believe we got it wrong, appeal through the Contact page with your account name and roughly when it happened. Appeals are genuinely reviewed.
14. Respect the Snake Verse team
Snake Verse is made by one person, and that same person reads the tickets, reviews the reports, and answers your mail. There is no moderation team on watch, so reports are read in batches rather than the moment they arrive.
Criticism and feedback are always welcome, however blunt. Threats, harassment, and personal attacks are not.
15. Give feedback well
We are open to criticism and suggestions.
Tell us about gameplay, balance, arenas, snakes, the interface, features, or how it feels to play.
Describe the problem clearly so it can be understood and fixed. Send it through the ticket form, the Help panel inside the game, or [email protected].
16. Accounts made to dodge a penalty
Creating a new account to escape a penalty or a ban can lead to action on that account too.
Do not try to work around moderation.
17. Use common sense
No list of rules can spell out every situation.
Use common sense, and think about how what you are doing lands on other players.
If something clearly harms, deceives, disrupts, or spoils the game for someone else, do not do it.
Snake Verse is a community built by the people who play it.
We want everyone to be able to enter the arena, play freely, compete honestly, and come back again without having to deal with a toxic room.
Play seriously if you want to win. Play casually if that is what you enjoy. Above all, stay fair and respect the people you are playing with.

These guidelines may be updated as Snake Verse grows and community features change. The legally binding text is the Terms of Service, in particular Sections 5, 10, and 12; where this page and the Terms disagree, the Terms prevail.
