Purchase & Refund Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026.
This page sets out the purchase and refund terms for digital products in Snake Verse, and answers the question that decides everything else first: who is holding your money.
We never receive or store your card number. Every payment is handled by a payment provider that takes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles refund requests under its own policy.
By completing a purchase you are taken to have read and accepted this page together with the Terms of Service.
1. Who processes your payment
| In the Android app | Google Play. The item lands in your account once we have Google's confirmation of the transaction. Refunds are requested through Google Play, not through us, and are decided under Google's policy. |
|---|---|
| On the web | lynk.id. After payment, a redemption code goes to the email address you ordered with, and you enter it at snakeverse.app/redeem. Each code works once. |
Because of that, the single most common cause of delay is a request sent to the wrong place. If you bought inside the Android app, the refund route is Google Play. We can still check what your account actually recorded, and we still carry whatever turns out to be our own fault.
2. Digital products
What Snake Verse sells is digital: snakes, accessories, diamonds, and other in game items. All of it is delivered to your account automatically once the payment is confirmed.
Those items are a limited licence to use them inside the game, not property outside it, and they cannot be moved to another account.
Buying with real money requires an account, so that what you bought lives on the server and can be restored if your device is lost or broken.
3. Purchases you did not mean to make
Anyone can press the wrong thing. When it happens, contact us as soon as you can through the Payment Issue form and include the order number.
For a purchase made in the Android app, also file the refund request with Google Play, because that is where the decision is made.
A request is reviewed on the state of the transaction, the state of the product, and whether it has been used. Filing a request does not by itself mean the money comes back.
4. When a refund is considered
We back your request, and handle it ourselves where the payment route allows, in situations such as:
- The payment went through but the product never arrived in the account.
- A technical fault leaves the product unusable as intended.
- The same transaction was paid for twice.
- Any other problem that traces back to a fault on our side.
What usually does not lead to a refund:
- Changing your mind after buying.
- Picking the wrong product once the transaction is done.
- Not liking the product after using it.
- Losing access to an account through your own oversight.
- Action taken on an account for breaching the Community Guidelines or the Terms of Service.
- A product already used or spent, unless something genuinely went wrong.
Every request is reviewed on its own. For purchases made in the Android app, the final decision still rests with Google Play.
5. Products already used
For an item or diamonds already used, spent, or already benefiting the account, a refund request can be turned down. Spent diamonds, for instance, or a snake or accessory already taken into the arena.
That line exists so the refund system does not turn into a way of getting things for free, a cost that ends up carried by other players through prices.
6. Double payments
If you accidentally paid more than once for the same thing, contact us with both order numbers. Once verified, a qualifying double payment is refunded through the payment provider involved.
Before that, open the Shop while signed in to the account you bought with. A payment that went through but never finished recording is restored on the spot. More
7. A charge you do not recognise
If a Snake Verse charge looks unfamiliar, check the payment history on the platform you used first, then contact us. Your own purchase history is visible inside the game under Settings.
Talk to us before disputing with your bank.
A charge that can still be verified is almost always settled faster by email than by a dispute, and a dispute raised after the product was received can be treated as payment abuse.
If you suspect someone else used your card, do not wait: contact your bank or payment provider, then tell us so the account can be secured.
8. Payment disputes
A dispute raised without a valid reason can put the account under review, and purchasing can be limited while that review runs.
Where abuse is found, we can take back the item concerned, limit purchasing, or suspend the account as set out in Terms of Service Section 10.
When a purchase is refunded, the matching item is taken back from the account. That is the ordinary rule, not a penalty: what has been paid back cannot also be kept.
9. Prices and product changes
Prices can change at any time, and can differ between regions because of rounding and local tax rules.
A price change is not retroactive and does not make an earlier purchase eligible for a refund.
We may also adjust game balance, including earn rates and what an item does. Those adjustments apply going forward.
10. How to ask
Use the Payment Issue form, or write to [email protected]. The form is quicker because it gives you a ticket number straight away, and that number is what we look up when you follow up.
Include:
- The player name you use in game.
- The date of the transaction.
- What was bought and the amount.
- The Google Play order number, or the email address you ordered with on the web.
- What happened, as close as you remember.
Never send your password or an account security code.
We never ask for either, and we do not need them to check any transaction.
11. How a request is reviewed
We check the transaction record, the state of the product on the account, and the account history around that purchase. How long it takes depends on the transaction and the provider; a first reply usually arrives within 1 to 3 working days.
Where the fault is ours, the way out can be re-delivering the product, restoring a balance, or refunding it, whichever fits your situation best.
12. Abuse of the refund system
The refund system may not be used as a way of getting things for free: repeated requests with no valid reason, working a gap in the payment flow, or disputing a charge on purpose after the product has been used.
That kind of activity can lead to purchasing limits or action on the account.
13. Before you press buy
Check the product, the price, and which account you are signed in to. Completing the payment confirms that you understand what you are buying and what it costs.
If this device is shared with someone else, lock purchases in your app store settings. That is the only thing that stops an unintended purchase before it happens.
14. Changes to this policy
This policy can be updated as the service develops, and applies from the moment the newest version appears on this page. The date at the top shows the last update.
15. Contact us
For questions about a purchase, a transaction, or a refund:
- The Payment Issue form, which gives you a ticket number straight away.
- Email to [email protected].
- The Help panel inside the game, under Settings.
Every route arrives in the same inbox, answered by the person who writes this game. Each route is described on the Contact page.
This page explains how buying and refunds work in everyday language. The legally binding text is the Terms of Service, in particular Sections 6, 7, and 10; where the two disagree, the Terms prevail. Nothing here reduces the consumer rights the applicable law gives you.
